We are bidding to host the 88th World Science Fiction Convention in ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan). Also known as Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ is the traditional and contemporary territory for the people of many First Nations including the nêhiyaw / Cree, Dene, Anishinaabe / Saulteaux, Nakota Isga / Nakota Sioux, and Niitsitapi / Blackfoot peoples. We recognise this land as being on Treaty 6 Territory and part of the Fort Edmonton and Edmonton Whitemud Métis Districts within the Métis Nation homeland.
